Dr Elizabeth Hagen is a leading cataract and comprehensive ophthalmologist who has practiced in the southern Gold Coast region for over 20 years. Dr Hagen gained her medical degree at the University of Auckland, and trained in ophthalmology throughout New Zealand qualifying in 1995 as Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. She also completed a one year advanced Fellowship in Oculoplastics at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Dr Hagen is a highly respected and experienced ophthalmologist who takes pride in providing exceptional skill and care to her patients, particularly those who have correctable visual loss due to cataract. Dr Hagen continues to actively seek advances in technology to improve patient outcomes.
As an enthusiastic photographer, Dr Hagen applies her passion for visual excellence to her recreation. With her family, she enjoys the Australian outdoors both on land and on water.
